omg! i mean come on. well i posted the american jrock thing, i'm being curious if adding japanese to a mostly english song would be cool? not if you like jrock or not just simple as that.
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, well i understand lots of ppl don't like jrock, but i do. and listening to complaining whiny ppol calling jrock faggish, and webbo (no clue what that even means). i mean whether you have something nice to say or not. be somewhat understanding and not a dang fag! (oh i want to say somethign worse but keeping this pg-13) i understand you may not think jrock is cool or its just plain wierd, if thats what you think please don't respond then. cuz me having to be nice and smile nicely bugs me. i'm gonna go insane i was just asking for feedback, i know not all feedback is going to be nice and good. but at least think before u write something, try to understand that i'm asking a heartfelt question and you don't need to act to mean about it.

*throws a desk at the wall and sits downs and meditates*

and oh yeah people in the music forum are harsh no matter what.

If you like some band....say I like A Global Threat....well others will be more than glad to express their thoughts it aint pleasant. And if you like a certain style someone else doesnt they automatically assume your an ass and everything you listen to sucks.

I say do whatever the fuck you want to do. Yes it will be different, you cannot please everyone, and you cannot make everyone like you and your band but as long as you put in effort and try you will stand out. Do what you really want to do. I listen to a band that plays songs in Russian, French, and English turns the singer is actually German. Nothing wrong singing in a language that is foreign to you. Do what makes you happy ;)

no its good post. thank you so much. you are absolutly right. whether ppl like the music i play i don't care, i just want to enjoy playing it as much as i can. thank you for you advice, its very helpful. :D

Jrock = Japanese Rock. unless you are from Japan, no. sorry to sound harsh, but that's just it.

you can be a regular rock band that has some Japanese phrases thrown in if that's what you want. but calling yourself a jrock band would be bizarre.
example= lets say theres a band from Germany. They love music with lyrics in english. they know some phrases in english. So they add some english lyrics to their music. But do they call themselves British rock/American rock? its simply rock.

Wear whatever you want if your into the visual part of jrock, that's completely up to you.

i see. lol I went through the same "phase" (not sure what to call it) a few years ago.

Just keep an open mind with music =) hope your band goes well. btw, who are your influences?

well me i'm influced by alot of things. i wierd that way. i can hear something once and i will try to recreate it with my own flare to it. probably the people who influce my music the most are the singers that wrote music that made me feel better when i got depressed and suicidal. like Miyavi, Gackt, Alice Nine, Panic at the disco, Fall out boy, Antic cafe, D , Malicmizer, and my brothers band. they all inflence my music bit by bit. but i still find away to show my own colors through it all. and i will keep an open mind as much as possible. thanks i hope we do well too, but only time will tell me if it will or not.

temper,temper my dear. I like the stuff, I have Karma by Bump of Chicken on my computer. I'm pretty sure that counts as Jrock considering it's rock and it's japanese. I completely understand. I sometimes feel like that about people saying they should just stop making sonic the hedgehog games.
